EXPRIEX BMC 2017, The Largest Lean Startup Competitio in ASEAN

The ESPRIEX Business Model Competition is looking for Students in participating int hisyear competitions cheduled to take place 15 – 17 March 2017 at Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. In order to enter the competition, the studnets must register first and then follow the Instructions at our website at : www.experiex.co. The ESPRIEX Business Model Competition ASEAN is collaboration event with the international busienss model competition co – hosted and co – founded by Brigham young University, Harvard University,a dn stanford University

The wining team of ESPRIEX BMC ASEAN will represent ASEAN regionals as a qualifier in the IBMC held on May 2017 at harvard university

The Business Model Competition is judged much differently than traditional business competitions. The competition focused on the inputs and process of entrepreneurship and not its outputs. Participants won’t be rewarded for doing lots of library research creating fancy graphs, or crafting the perfect sales pitch. Instead they will be rewarded for :

• Breaking down their idea into hypotheses based on the elements of the Busienss Model Canvas
• Getting outside the buildling and testing their assumptions with real customers the nail the pain
• Applying customers development & lean startup principles to make sure they nail the solution
• Learning the pivot (or change) until they have a customer – validated business model that achieves product / market fit.

Timeline :

• Open Registration : 28th December 2016 – 4th February 2017
• Submission Deadline : 4th February 2017
• Judging Review : 5th – 11th February 2017
• Finalist Announcement (Top 25) : 12th February 2017
• Final Round : 15th – 17th March 2017
